Here’s the pick of the non-official websites supporting the Saints. We review this all the time but drop us an
if you’d like to have another site added here and we'll bung it in...
Sainters.com,
This is a really professional site with truckloads of goodies.
Seriously I could be here half the day telling you about all it has to
offer and wouldn’t even scratch the surface. As Molly would say “Do
yourself a favour…” and check out this awesome site.
e-Saint
this site is packed full of really fantastic multi-media stuff like
club logos, photos and in particular, some awesome video footage (like
the highlights of the 66 Grand Final victory over Collingwood). There
are also tributes to a couple of Saints legends (Trevor Barker and Eric
Guy). Well worth a visit…
Saintsational A very good forum site with a bunch of good banter.
West of Moorabbin
Another very impressive site including latest AFL / Club news articles,
Match previews and reviews, injury list, the current squad and a heap
more…
Flyfisher
bit of a boutique site showcasing some of the punters from bay 36
(click on the photo of the boys on the home page for a bit of a
giggle). Also has a rockin version of the club song as performed by a
couple of the punters. Best thing on the site is a cracker illustration
of the evolution of Magpies supporters.
Max's Shrine
tribute site packed to the Max with Max Hudghton’s photos (I get the
feeling max has got a stalker) as well as a smattering of player pics
from different club social events.
Sainters Heaven Good site that contains a bunch of team pics, discussion forums, season results, ladder and more…
Roo 12 Nick Riewoldt tribute site – includes season stats since 2001 and a couple of photo albums.
Wikipedia St Kilda Football Club
Includes a snapshot of the club’s recent history, membership base,
current squad, club records and individual awards – very good site with
current info.
Footywire St Kilda club statistics
packed full of player / match stats, player rankings, season calendar
and results… Great for all you number-crunchers out there.
Full points footy St Kilda
two pages of history describing the turbulent evolution of the St Kilda
FC since its beginnings in the VFA. Great historical resource including
stacks of prominent club contributors (like Roy Cazaly, Tony Lockett,
etc…), premierships won, individual awards (Brownlow, Norm Smith, all
Australian) stats and stacks of mini biographies of players.
St Kilda FC Encyclopedia
brief site with snapshot info about the club history, club motto, its
sole premiership win, and an interesting account of why, during the
period of the First World War, the players pinned union jacks on their
jumpers…
All the stats: St Kilda stats and records about current team list (height, weight, BMI, age, games, goals and when debuted, no. of games); personal player stats; and overall club season stats
(premierships, minor premierships, wooden spoons, overall records
against each team, greatest winning/losing margins and a bunch more).
St Kilda footy goss latest goss/articles around the club. Very current stuff.
St Kilda Saints Fun Trivia
interesting facts / trivia – good site. Hit the “quizzes” link at the
top menu to get some really good quizzes about other AFL clubs and
other sports codes.
Pro-Stats another beauty for all you number-crunchers, packed full of overall team stats, individual stats and player rankings.
Bigfooty up to the minute Saints news and banter, plus links to playing list, season fixtures and a bunch more.
